What makes TribuCast® stand out from Facebook Live Streaming?

TribuCast® was thoughtfully designed to let family and loved ones privately attend a funeral or memorial service in real time, or at a later date, on a phone, tablet or computer. Unlike other streaming platforms, TribuCast® closely matches the in-person experience for those attending remotely by including interactive touchpoints like the service program, photos, eulogies and memorabilia. Remote attendees can easily access a TribuCast® through the use of a private link.

Do we download the software ahead of time? Or do we go through those steps when we are ready to webcast?
You download and set up the software ahead of time. It is a “one-time” process.

Once this set up is complete, you purchase a TribuCast® from our website (they can be purchased hours, days or weeks in advance) and enter the Stream Security Code for that service into the software you downloaded onto the device you will be using to broadcast. At that time you will also be given a unique Distribution Link (website URL) for that service which is shared with the family.

Is TribuCast®’s Remote Attendance System™ private and secure?

When you live stream an intimate service like a funeral ceremony on a public platform such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, or Twitch TV, then it’s nearly impossible to guarantee complete privacy, not to mention the potential for awkwardly placed advertisements. TribuCast® uses dedicated, private links to make sure that only those who are invited to the service are able to attend online.

TribuCast® brings people together through a personal website that includes the service as well as images and information such as the funeral program, eulogies, and family photographs. Remote attendees can also offer condolences using the TribuCast® Guest Book.

What about the technology?

TribuCast® works with any tablet or smart device that you may already have on hand. In addition, many funeral directors are even able to use their built-in or fixed camera system to set up great live funeral webcasting with TribuCast®. For any specific questions related to your current system, please don’t hesitate to reach out and get in touch with a member of our team today.

Can family members access a service from anywhere in the world?

As most funeral directors know, it is not uncommon for key family and loved ones to have to miss out on a funeral service. Whether due to their location, their health, or any personal conflicts, some people simply are unable to attend a funeral service in person. With a live streamed funeral, these people don’t have to worry about missing out. Instead, when you make use of a live funeral webcasting platform such as TribuCast®, friends and family members are able to tune in from anywhere around the globe. This is just one of many distinct advantages that your clients can enjoy when you make a live funeral webcasting system available for your funeral services.

Furthermore, TribuCast® does not place a limit on the number of people who are able to attend the live memorial service. This means that you can offer live funeral webcasting as easily to families who are expecting a large number of remote attendees, as to those who are expecting lower numbers. In any case, TribuCast® makes the service accessible to anyone, regardless of the size of the ceremony in question.
