Frequently Asked Questions

Many of the most common questions we get asked about TribuCast® can be found below

Is TribuCast® available worldwide?
The link is generated by the funeral home that is conducting the service and is then provided to the family. The family decides who to share it with. Because each service is considered private unless the family decides to make it public, TribuCast® does not share or provide links upon request.
Are services recorded? Can I view the service at a later date?
Yes, if the family chooses to make it available, the service can be viewed again for up to 90 days using the same link. It can also be downloaded for free.
Do you only work with Funeral Homes?
TribuCast® is offered exclusively through funeral homes as a way for family and loved ones to attend services remotely.
Is TribuCast® available worldwide?
Yes. We currently work with funeral homes on several continents.
How much does it cost?
You should check with your funeral director for pricing.
Is there a maximum number of viewers who can watch a service at a time?
No. We find most services have an average of 60-90 remote attendees, though we have had TribuCast® viewed by more than 1,000 individuals.
What makes TribuCast® stand out from Facebook Live Streaming?
TribuCast® was thoughtfully designed to let family and loved ones privately attend a funeral or memorial service in real time, or at a later date, on a phone, tablet or computer. Unlike other streaming platforms, TribuCast® closely matches the in-person experience for those attending remotely by including interactive touchpoints like the service program, photos, eulogies and memorabilia. Remote attendees can easily access a TribuCast® through the use of a private link.
